Following a successful 2019 event, we’re pleased to make the first announcement for next year’s Summer School, which will take place from 7th-9th May 2020 in Málaga, Spain.

Hosted in partnership with Fundación Cudeca, Spain’s only cancer care hospice, the programme will cover:

  • Promoting a model of best practice in care for the dying
  • Earlier, more patient-centred communication
  • The important role of volunteers to support dying patients and their families
  • A quality improvement framework for best care for the dying person

There will also be an opportunity to submit abstracts to share your research and best practice.

Registration information will be published here in due course.  In the meantime, save the date, and we look forward to seeing you in Málaga in 2020!

Registration is now open for the 6th Annual Symposium of the International Collaborative for Best Care for the Dying Person, taking place in historic Bergen, Norway, from 4th to 7th November 2019.

Hosted by the University of Bergen, the event promises an engaging week of project meetings and networking opportunities, culminating in the 6th Annual Research Conference entitled “A Good Ending – Good for All”.   You can view the outline programme and register for the conference on the University of Bergen website.

Abstracts are very welcome.
